Friends of Kett's Heights
Location

Kett's Heights entrance is on the right hand side about half way up Kett's Hill on the B1140 out of Norwich and is accessed through  metal gates. It's well signed and the notice board gives details of events.  There is also a step-free entrance from Ladbrooke Place car park (NOW OPEN) which allows wheelchair access to the viewpoint.

Car parking on Kett's Hill itself is mainly restricted to residents only between 8am - 6.30pm  Mon-Sat. although there are a couple of free, 2hr max. spaces by the entrance to Kett's Heights.  After 6.30pm and all day Sunday parking is allowed except on double yellow lines. The nearest FREE car park is on Mousehold Heath opposite the old cavalry buildings in Britannia Road about a 6 minute walk away.
Once at the top of Kett's Hill and past Quebec Road the Zoned area finishes and you can park in any of the side roads if you can find a space!   There is also a small car park in Ladbrooke Place for those using the  new step-free entrance that is due to open May/June 2024.

If you arrive by rail then it's only about a 10 minutes’ walk from the railway station along Riverside and Bishop Bridge Roads and then up Kett’s Hill to the entrance.  Slightly longer if you go the more interesting way on the city side of the river (entrance via outside of The Compleat Angler pub) then  past Pull’s Ferry and continue walking by the river until you reach the Red Lion pub, then cross over Bishop's Bridge and turn left re-joining Bishop's Bridge road.

Wheelchair
Step-free access to the viewpoint over Norwich City, suitable for wheelchair visitors, is now available from the Ladbrooke Place entrance.
