2015

September
  •  Media campaign in the EDP, Evening News, Norwich Advertiser, Mustard TV  and    Future Radio to raise awareness of the potential of  Kett’s Heights.
  •  Weekend of public tours is attended by 100 people.
  •  Public consultation meeting attended by 50 local people and Steering Committee set up.
 
October
  • Steering Committee met and undertook site visit
  •  Grants applications submitted for a feasibility study and local consultation.
 
November
  •  Creation of Friends of Kett’s Heights  with 40 members so far.
  • Autumn plant survey undertaken pro bono by The Landscape Company.
  •  Sub-committees formed to create a vision for Kett’s Heights, undertake  fundraising,  publicise Kett’s Heights and develop an events programme, and start on a work programme to make the site a welcoming and attractive space.

December
  • Removal of dangerous spikes from a path at the request of the Friends.
  • Grant application submitted by the Friends to Norwich City Council for a community grant.

 2016

January 
  •  Tree felling at the main Kett's Heights viewpoint to restore the wonderful  vista.
February
  • Clearing of the site's pathways by Community Payback.  Emptying & clearing pond of rubbish, removing ivy from trees and general pruning, tidying etc by Friends of Kett's Heights.
