The last Sunday free tour date for 2024 is on:
6th October at 2.30pm If you would like to be included on any tour then you must register. This will allow us to plan for the numbers attending . These small, friendly tours comprise a leisurely guided stroll around the Heights with some interesting historical facts pointed out on the way. We meet, next to the bike racks. at the top of the entrance path from Kett’s Hill or the foot of the Ladbrooke Place entrance The tour lasts about 45 -55 minutes after which you are welcome to explore The Heights on your own. Children & well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome. Please be aware that there is a flight of steps from the Kett's Hill entrance gate. Wheelchair users please use the Ladbrooke Place entrance (see below). There are also several sets of steep steps on the tour, although there is an alternative, step free route to the viewpoint for those not able to negotiate the steep climbs or are in a wheelchair and we will provide a steward to guide you on this alternative route. The site also has some very steep slopes so please keep a watchful eye if you bring young children! They should be supervised by an adult at all times. See below for Kett's Height's location map. Don't worry, we won't be upset if for any reason you can't make it on the day but please let us know by e-mail if you do have to cancel. Thank you. |
