“You can stand at Kett’s Heights... on the steepest part of the escarpment next to the one surviving remnant of the chapel Kett used as his head quarters, and on a clear day you’ve got a magnificent view.
You feel that you can almost reach out and touch the cathedral spire - that was a real highlight for me.”
C.J. Sansom - Author of "Tombland", the latest in the excellent Shardlake series.

Snow transformed the Heights for a short while!

December 2020
We have recently installed a new explanatory sign at the top of the main entrance path in front of the lower green. This replaces the sign that has been there since the 1980's and was a little out of date. The sign was designed and produced by The Friends in conjunction with Norwich City Council and Norwich Fringe Project.  (click on images to enlarge)

Tuesday October 20th.
After all the recent dull, rainy weather it was good to get up to Kett's Heights yesterday with 5 others and plant 500 more snowdrops, 90 bluebells & 40 each of daffodils & tulips. I went back in the evening late sunshine to take a few photos!
